PRAISE GOD we have completed our initial monthly support goal! We have just moved from Hagerstown, Maryland and are in the process of getting settled in. We are so excited to be working as missionaries with FamilyLife in Little Rock, Arkansas.
What God Has Been Doing...
November 16-21, 2011-Dan planned his first Weekend to Remember in San Antonio, TX. Here's a few things our Guests shared about the weekend:
"Coming
in our marriage was over, despite the fact we were still living together. Friends introduced and paid for our
conference. We came in as a last ditch
effort before the inevitable divorce.
Friday night we fought, and again Saturday morning. Time was running out. I skipped lunch on Sat., fasted, prayed for
my husband. I really prayed for the
first time since I can remember.
Basically I prayed blessings over his life and a miracle in our
relationship. God heard my /our prayer
and blessed our marriage. We have come
together again as husband and wife.
Divorce is no longer an option." ~ Married 27 years

August 15, 2011- First Day at FamilyLife! Dan is serving as Event Planner. Emily serves as Corporate Guest Service Coordinator. She is working with businesses who want to send their employees to a Weekend to Remember Getaway.
July 28 & 29, 2011-Drive to Little Rock, Arkansas with Emily's Parents. Got moved in to our new apartment/townhome.
July 17-27, 2011- Went to Colorado State University for a bi-annual Campus Crusade for Christ conference. We were richly blessed by Francis Chan, Dan Allender, David Platt, Tenth Avenue North, along with many other Christ-Followers.
July 2011- Reached our monthly support goal! Praise God for His timing and provision!
May 27-28, 2011- Had a yard sale to get rid of things before we moved!
April 17, 2011- We were richly blessed by a partner in ministry who allowed us to come to their home and share the ministry with their friends. We were humbled by their willingness to help us in finishing out our support! Praise God!
April 1, 2011- We reached 85% of our financial goal!!!
February-April, 2011- We completed a Bible study called Marriage Oneness at the Hagerstown Bible Church. We led a group of couples through a dvd-based Bible study resource from FamilyLife. 9 out of 10 couples said that their marriage improved after the study was complete. March 13, 2011-Presented in a sunday school class at The Chapel in Marlboro.
January 30, 2011- Had the pleasure of speaking at Friendship Bible Church in Ohio. God used this church to greatly encourage us!
December 12, 2010- Spoke at Grace Bible Church in Indian Springs
November 10, 2010- We spoke in the evening service at Independent Bible Church in Martinsburg, WV.
October 24, 2010- Spoke in the evening service at Blair's Vally Church of God.
October 10, 2010 -Spoke at Berean Bible Fellowship, State Line, PA
October 3, 2010- Had an amazing time of worship at Church Without Walls in Martinsburg, WV.
September 19, 2010- We were greatly blessed by the congregation at Fellowship Bible Church in Shenodoah Junction, WV. We spoke in the two morning services and Sunday School hour.
August 6, 2010- Dan spoke at One Worship at Smithsburg Valley Baptist Church. Dan's message focused on the God's view of marriage and why it is eternally important.
July 25, 2010-Boonsboro Bible Church-spoke during the AM service. We met so many Spirit-filled men and women!
July 19-24, 2010-Dan went to Ohio for more appointments.
June 27, 2010- We spoke at our home church-Hagerstown Bible Church in the evening service. We are blessed to have our home church support us!
June 14-Dan played in a golf tournament to raise money for the Hagerstown Area Pregnancy Center. It was a long day, but full of great swings!
June 6- We were able to speak at our first Sunday School group in Ohio. What a blessing! We saw God work in unexpected ways. The Sunday School class is supporting us both financially and prayfully. The church is also bringing us on as missionaires.
May 7, 2010- Dan left his former job to raise support full-time! We have been praying that we would soon reach this point. This will allow Dan to travel to Ohio during the week.
