When the weather gets warm, Dan and I love to be outside. On one usually warm February day, we took a trip to Harper's Ferry. Dan had never been there and it had been a long time since I had. We walked a lot and learned a little history while we were there too!
Trying out a local pizza restaurant. Very shady, but ended up being delicious pizza!

Please pray for our family as we grieve the loss of my close cousin, David Grove. He was killed on Veteran's Day, doing the job he loved.

During the last weekend of October, Dan and I traveled to Chesapeake, Virginia to see our dear friends, Randy, Cathleen, and Lauren Smith. We had met Randy and Cathleen at FamilyLife's "Preview Weekend" in June 2009. It has been exciting to see God lead them to seminary school at The Master's Seminary in California.

Dan has been traveling to his hometown in Ohio for appointments. Please pray for his safety as well as the ability to get many appointments each week he's there. |

Dan and I had a great time in Ohio for Dan's sister, Beth's highschool graduation party. We go to hang out with his brothers and sister (and sister-in-law!) and see old friends. On Sunday, we spoke at a Sunday School class that Dan's dad and his wife attend. It was a great opportunity to speak with others who understand how important marriage is.
